Fluoride: A Safe & Effective Toxin
A brief and basic look into fluoride, just in case you're still using it.
If you’re going to scrub something into your mouth twice or more every single day, and perhaps even drink it daily, for your entire life… Do you think it may be worth making absolutely sure it’s good for you, or at the very least, it isn’t going to do you harm?
The Basic Premise:
1. Hydrogen fluoride and silicon tetrafluoride gases are highly toxic by-products of fertilizer (phosphates), aluminium (+copper and iron), Teflon production, etc
2. The toxic waste materials require appropriate treatment and/or disposal. The gases were originally vented into the atmosphere, damaging nearby animals and vegetation, until anti-pollution regulations came in. These resulted in the gases’ conversion to fluorosilicic acid (FSA), a toxic waste liquid
3. Gerald J. Cox, whilst working for a major Aluminium manufacturer, discovers fluoride is actually a preventative of tooth caries, in spite of the recent high-profile discovery of dental fluorosis
4. The infamous Edward Bernays was brought in to create the PR campaign
5. Suddenly, an expensive waste material becomes a profitable resource. In every other instance than drinking water, it’s certified hazardous waste
It should be noted that dental hygiene improved in countries during the period of water fluoridation; however, it also improved at similar rates in countries where water fluoridation was not taking place.
This strongly suggests there were other reasons for improved dental hygiene during this period.
Fluoride May Cause:
Death - most fluoride toothpastes contain enough to kill a child
Accumulation of Aluminium (in the brain)
Calcified pineal gland (and subsequent issues)
Renal damage (further contributing to other hazards)
Possible cancers
Chromosome damage and DNA function interference
Everything else you’d expect from ingesting a highly toxic substance twice a day
Recent Developments:
Here is an excellent example of why fluoride continues to be used and why it continues to be considered safe by the majority of people…
The latest findings showing fluoride dangers:

Documents showing the latter to be questionable at best:

The former was repeatedly blocked from being published and the latter was quickly produced and distributed just days prior to the former’s eventual publication... What does this look like to you, does any of it raise any flags?
This is, of course, specifically regarding water fluoridation and not toothpaste; however, the evident toxicity should cause some hesitancy to swirling fluoride around one’s mouth for several minutes at a time, several times a day.
Assuming nothing is swallowed*, sublingual and buccal absorption are usually effective means of getting things into the bloodstream.
*Children at least, are prone to swallowing it.
Final Thoughts:
There’s increasing awareness of the importance of the oral microbiome, its effect on the health of your teeth, causing bad breath, protection from disease, etc. Our mouth is a microbiome developed over millennia to protect the body from harms and, unsurprisingly, toothpastes and mouthwashes disrupt or destroy it. For example, look into ‘A12 Strep’.
Just as in other areas of (medical) science, if you call out the elephant in the room (in this case fluoride), you suffer the consequences. Dr. George Walbott, Dr. William Marcus, and Dr. Phyllis Mullenix are just 3 such victims.

For The Sake of Fairness:
Here’s a link to an article which manages to advocate for fluoridation, attack everyone daring to question it, and showcase the Dunning-Kruger effect all at once. This Oral-B article is unsurprisingly in favor of fluoride in toothpaste, and here’s one from the American Dental Association (ADA). At least the ADA has the good grace to actually reference anything, at least giving their claims the appearance of being evidence-based.
